Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training

Truck drivers are in demand. Based on an American Trucking Association survey, more than 400,000 new truck drivers are needed every year. Let the professional instructors at United Tractor Trailer School, Inc. train you for your career as a Class A or B Commercial Driver. Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Massachusetts resident
  • Valid driver's license
  • Students must have both their Learner's Permit and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical prior to class start date

2026 Schedule

CDL Class A Driver Training

  • March 21 – May 24, 2026, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Cost: $7,070
  • Classroom instruction: For the first five weeks, Saturday trainings will take place at BCC. The first five trainings on Sunday will be held at United Tractor Trailer School in Holyoke, MA. Remaining five weeks will be held on Saturday and Sundays at United Tractor Trailer School in Holyoke, MA.
  • Training will consist of a total of 160 hours of classroom, field and on-the-road instruction.
  • Grant scholarships are available for those who qualify; Self-pay option is also available to those not covered through scholarship funding.

CDL Class B Driver Training

  • March 23 – 27, 2026, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Cost: $3,675
  • Classroom instruction: BCC Main Campus
  • Driving instruction: Former Berkshire Mall, Lanesborough, MA
  • The training will consist of a total of 40 hours of classroom, field and on-the-road instruction
  • Grant scholarships are available for those who qualify; Self-pay option is also available to those not covered through scholarship funding
