                  At Berkshire Community College, the Student Government Association (SGA) is the official
                     voice of the student body. As a student-run organization, SGA advocates for student
                     interests, works closely with college leadership, and supports efforts to make campus
                     life the best it can be. SGA plays an important role in building community and making

                              What does the SGA do?

                                 - We represent you. SGA brings student concerns, ideas, and feedback to campus leadership to help guide
                                    decision-making.
- We build community. Whether it’s through leadership development, outreach events, or campus wide initiatives,

                              How to Get Involved
                              
                              Thinking about joining SGA or just curious about what we do? We’re always looking
                                 for new voices and perspectives.
                              
                              Students interested in running for a seat must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be currently
                                 enrolled. Our main elections happen in the spring, but we also appoint students to
                                 fill open spots throughout the year.

                              SGA Meetings
                              
                              SGA meetings are held every Tuesday and are open to the entire campus community. It’s
                                 a great way to see what we’re working on, share your thoughts, or bring up topics
                                 that matter to you.
                              
                              Meetings take place in Room G12, located on the lower level of the Susan B. Anthony
                                 Building.
                              
                              All agendas and meeting minutes are posted on the SGA bulletin board, located in the
                                 SGA Lounge across from the Bookstore.
